2007 Tokyo Auto Salon - Part 1

January 17, 2007 - We really wanted to run a kick-ass summary piece on the 2007 Tokyo Auto Salon here, but as the song says, "you can't always get what you want". You see, writing a kick-ass article on an event as massive as TAS requires thought, and our brains just aren't working today. Recalling our three full hectic days at Makuhari Messe, we're not surprised that the "writing part" of our brain refuses to work. But when we think about all the late nights in Shibuya rock clubs and the even later nights hanging out at Daikoku Futoh and running on the Aqua Line - not to mention the fresh jet-lag - we're surprised we can even remember our names, let alone what we did over the weekend.

We tried to take some days off to recover - or at least mentally get back on U.S. Pacific Standard time. Sadly, the Hornicle and Carleburger were having none of that. We had to get a story in and update today damn it, and today's story just had to be about the 2007 Tokyo Auto Salon.

If we put up a story on any of the cars of the Tokyo Auto Salon, we'd definitely botch it by saying something stupid like, "look at the right hand-drive conversion on this car!" or something like that. We don't want to embarrass ourselves anymore than we already do, so we needed to come up with a quick and easy story; one that didn't really need any sort of text. We needed to kick off our 2007 Tokyo Auto Salon coverage with a massive Babe gallery.
